Planning a Christmas delivery? Here are the Mainfreight 2Home freight cut-off dates and holiday service details for Christmas 2026 and New Year 2027.
Christmas delivery cut-off dates
Mainfreight 2Home has advised the following last dispatch dates for delivery before Christmas:

| Metro / local deliveries, intra-island | Wednesday 16 December 2026 |
| Inter-island | Friday 11 December 2026 |
Mainfreight will attempt to deliver freight dispatched after these dates before Christmas, but delivery is not guaranteed.
These dates may be reviewed by Mainfreight in late November, depending on freight volumes in its network.
Mainfreight holiday pickup booking cut-offs
The following are Mainfreight's cut-off times for pickup requests to be phoned in or uploaded over the holiday period. They relate to carrier pickup bookings.

Mainfreight's normal operating hours resume on Tuesday 5 January 2027. All Mainfreight depots will be closed on statutory holidays.
